Angie Who
Parent-friendly kid folk music based in Sydney, Australia
Phase 1 - Lockdown Family Music
Angie Who invested in rebranding, website refresh, and print collateral to coincide with the launch of her sophomore album. Unforeseeably, the release date coincided with the pandemic lockdowns when parents and children were stuck at home together. With this in mind, we considered ways to make the album and the artwork engaging for families via a lyric book and colouring pages.
I developed a signature pattern for her based on her original collage work. I also illustrated these as simple line contours from her key images, and designed marketing assets to maximise the impact of her digital album launch. Caregivers and kids everywhere danced, sang, and were thankful for music they could all enjoy while at home together.
Phase 2 - Vibrancy and Live gigs post-pandemic
The second album had great success and Angie Who’s Lullabye Club, preschool incursions, live shows, and other in-person events expanded rapidly in the year after lockdown ended. We completely rebuilt her website to improve functionality to around these live gigs, as well as communicate her charismatic, yet science-backed approach to her music.
Angie has now performed at Sydney Opera House, Finders Keepers Markets, Major Minor Music Awards, and more, and is successfully teaching families how to connect through the connecting practice of singing.
